VOCO Hotel Aruba is the result of a complete renovation and rebranding of the former Talk of the Town hotel. This iconic property, located on the main boulevard of Oranjestad, has been transformed with a modern and refined architectural design.
As part of the renovation, the front façade was redesigned, the main entrance was elevated, and advanced architectural lighting techniques were incorporated to enhance the hotel’s visual identity and guest experience.
Our team contributed to the full electrical scope, including:
- Electrical load calculations, planning, and engineering.
- Modernization and replacement of outdated electrical components.
- Optimization of energy consumption and system efficiency.
- Integration of modern, durable, and safe lighting solutions across the property.
- Technical assessment to minimize failures and increase system reliability.
Additionally, DNR executed full electrical and lighting work in the following areas:
- Gardens and outdoor areas: pathway lighting, landscape illumination, decorative fixtures, and energy-efficient controls.
- Corridors and hallways: uniform, low-glare lighting, emergency systems, and occupancy-based controls.
- Public areas: lobby, reception, pool deck, and other common spaces with upgraded lighting design and power distribution.
The result is a revitalized hotel with enhanced energy performance, a modern aesthetic, and a lighting experience that elevates comfort and visibility throughout all guest and service areas—day and night.
